Yan Rodriguez
Born and raised in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, Yan Rodriguez is a dedicated nonprofit professional with a strong commitment to workforce development and community empowerment. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and political science, with a minor in Pre-Law, from the University of Dayton (2012–2016).
Since relocating to Cleveland, Ohio, Yan has focused his career on creating pathways to economic opportunity within underserved communities. He currently serves as the Latino Construction Program Instructor and Coordinator at The Spanish American Committee, where he leads a workforce development initiative aimed at preparing members of the Latino community in Northeast Ohio for careers in the construction and skilled trades industries.
In this role, Yan facilitates training, builds connections with unions and residential construction employers, and works to bridge talent pipelines, helping participants gain meaningful employment while supporting the growth of a diverse, skilled workforce. His work is rooted in a mission to foster economic mobility and create lasting change through equitable access to career opportunities.
