Rod Cruz is a transformational marketing and go-to-market leader who drives measurable growth and innovation across telecom, healthcare, and enterprise technology. As Vice President of Segment Marketing at T-Mobile for Business, he leads integrated strategies for the SEGA customer segments—overseeing demand generation, field marketing, base engagement, offers, and performance management. His data-driven, customer-centric approach ensures tight alignment with sales, products, and finance to accelerate business outcomes.
Rod’s leadership has delivered results at scale. At RingCentral, he launched the Revenue Growth Initiatives Office, deploying an AI-driven Propensity to Buy model that influenced more than $500M in revenue. At McKesson, he built the Vendor Management Office and technology PMO, leading 650+ enterprise-wide initiatives. Earlier in his career, Rod spent over a decade at AT&T, where he shaped the healthcare vertical strategy, introduced groundbreaking B2B solutions, and advanced complex enterprise go-to-market programs.
He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and Master’s Certificates in Telecommunications Management and Project Management. A former Board Member of the IoT Community and active member of the American Marketing Association, Rod is recognized as both a strategist and a builder. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on his yoga mat, playing chess and following college football.
