Mark Howard

Mark Howard is the Chief Operating Officer of TIME​​,​​where he oversees operations across the​ company’s print, digital, technology, consumer marketing, e-commerce, AI, licensing, and finance​ divisions.​


​With more than 25 years of experience in the media and technology sectors, Mark most recently served as​ ​Chief Business Officer at OpenWeb, where he directed data products and solutions, business development, and strategic partnerships. Prior to that, he was Chief Advertising and Partnerships Officer at Penske Media Corporation (PMC), where he managed revenue operations across PMC’s media portfolio. At PMC, he also led a corporate industry thought leadership team, advancing the company’s influence through research, events, and strategic initiatives. Additionally, he spearheaded the launch of a first-party data studio, creating innovative data solutions and personalized audience experiences.​


​Earlier in his career, Mark served as Chief Revenue Officer at Forbes from 2013 to 2020, leading the company’s digital and print platforms, live events, custom content, advertising, licensing, and business intelligence. During his tenure, he successfully expanded Forbes into new revenue streams, including live events and branded products.​


​Mark has also held senior leadership roles at various media and ad tech companies, gaining deep expertise​ ​in data analytics, product development, marketing technology, and advertising.
