James Williams

James Williams is an Army brat born in Nuremberg, Germany and raised in Las Cruces, NM where he started his career as a teller in 2008. He has been with Wells Fargo for 16 years and supported the Consumer Bank as a Service Manager and Interim Branch Manager in California prior to his VP, Senior Program Manager role with the Wells Fargo At Work Program in Colorado. He is a graduate of Colorado State University where he earned his BS in Project Management. Throughout his time with Wells Fargo, he has developed strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of the banking industry and the needs of consumers and businesses.

During his time in Colorado, he held various leadership roles with his local Wells Fargo Employee Impact Teams including Chairman of Communication, Finance, and Events. His collaboration with the American Cancer Society, Boulder County, United Way, and Habitat for Humanity provided the opportunity for him to develop and lead various volunteer events over the years. In 2022 he was offered a role within the Commercial Bank and decided to settle in Yukon, OK with his fiancé Garrett and their three dogs after living in Colorado since 2013.

Currently, James serves as the Vice President of Commercial Banking Business Development supporting both the states of Oklahoma and Arkansas. In his role, he partners across business lines to connect companies to the capital, products, services, and resources necessary to help them scale and succeed financially. He enjoys building close relationships with business owners and key
