Erika Baez-Grimes

Erika Baez-Grimes is a Certified M&A Professional, business broker, and founder of The BPH Group, LLC, where she is on a mission to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs to build wealth through business ownership.

With more than 15 years of deal-making experience — including over six years brokering Main Street and lower middle-market transactions — Erika has interacted with hundreds of buyers across every stage of the acquisition journey. From early exploration and due diligence to financing and transition planning, she has gained rare, front-line insight into how buyers think, what they fear, and where they struggle most. This perspective sets her apart in the (ETA) community: Erika doesn’t just understand transactions — she understands buyers, and what it truly takes to prepare them for successful ownership.

In 2015, Erika founded The BPH Group, a business hub designed to help companies bridge organizational gaps, identify revenue opportunities, secure capital, and implement systems that cut cost and that drive growth. Now, for executives and aspiring entrepreneurs alike, The BPH Group provides ETA training, post-transaction management, pre-exit guidance, and value creation services nationwide. Through this platform, Erika and her team focus on equipping Latino professionals, wantrepreneurs, and first-time buyers with the tools, strategies, and confidence to acquire, grow, and ultimately exit businesses successfully.

Recognized with multiple awards from Fortune 100 organizations for her record-breaking sales career and for shattering ceilings in traditionally underrepresented spaces, Erika has also made a lasting impact in multiple financial services organizations by consistently delivering growth, mentoring leaders, and setting new standards of excellence. Erika serves on several business community, cybersecurity, and technology boards, and is a proud member of the Executive Committee for the Women Business Collaborative. In these roles, she brings her expertise in M&A, entrepreneurship, and value creation to help guide strategy, shape policy, and expand impact. She now channels that same performance-driven mindset into breaking barriers in ETA. Her belief is simple: Latinos deserve representation, access, and pathways to ownership — and ETA is one of the most powerful ways to build generational wealth.
