Exclusive New Data Unveiled at Velocity Shows 50% Growth of Latino GDP
In the 2025 Official LDC U.S. Latino GDP Report, unveiled exclusively at Velocity, new data shows that U.S. Latino immigrants generated $1.6 trillion in GDP in 2023, contributing to an overall Latino purchasing power of $4.1 trillion. Latino GDP grew 50% between 2015 and 2023 — far outpacing the 17% growth of non-Latino GDP — driven by rising education levels, entrepreneurship, and labor force participation.
The report also breaks down state-specific impacts. California alone accounted for $989 billion of Latino GDP in 2023, with Texas, Florida, and New York each contributing hundreds of billions more.
“It’s very clear — if there’s a silver bullet for the economy beyond artificial intelligence, it’s the Latino consumer. They are workers, entrepreneurs, and consumers, driving significant growth across sectors in the American economy,” said Sol Trujillo, Founder and CEO of Velocity and co-founder of the Latino Donor Collaborative.
