George Carrillo

George is a powerful example of someone actively refining his purpose while remaining rooted in service. A disabled veteran, George served as a Marine Sergeant in the infantry. Born and raised in Chicago and holds a B.A in Criminal Justice, he went on to serve as a sheriff’s deputy in Gila County, Arizona, before relocating to Portland, Oregon, in 2013 to begin his career in state government and executive of Social Determinants of Health for the State of Oregon.


Today, George serves as Co-Founder and CEO of the Hispanic Construction Council, and as COO of the Umpqua Transportation District in Douglas County, Oregon.
