Meet the minds behind Velocity: Sol and Andrea Trujillo — the team redefining the future of business.

Sol brings a legacy of leadership spanning global corporations, public policy, and economic transformation. A trailblazing global CEO, the first U.S.-born Latino to lead a Fortune 150 company, and the original architect of The New Mainstream Movement, he has reshaped how we think about scale, strategy, and inclusion.

Andrea brings a fearless creative lens rooted in media, brand, and cultural strategy. She represents a new generation of leaders who understand the power of identity, storytelling, and influence to move markets forward.

Together, they created Velocity — a platform for those who don’t just respond to the future, but actively shape it.

1983

Breaking Corporate Barriers

Sol becomes the youngest executive officer in AT&T history at age 32—the largest company in the world at the time, marking a historic moment for Latino leadership in corporate America.

1999

Fortune 150 Pioneer

As CEO of U.S. West, Sol becomes the first U.S.-born Latino to lead a Fortune 150 company, paving the way for future generations of diverse corporate leadership.

2004

Creative Excellence

Andrea wins big at TBWA/CHIAT/DAY as part of the team who created the global award-winning "Dog's Rule" campaign for Pedigree—a benchmark in creative storytelling that proved advertising's power to drive business worldwide.

2004

First Latin-Born American CAC-40 CEO

Sol becomes CEO of Orange, operating across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe—making him the first American to helm a CAC-40 company.

2005

Digital Media Pioneer

Andrea becomes employee #25 at DailyCandy—the first lifestyle email newsletter that defined digital media and shaped how brands connected with audiences before "content marketing" existed.

2005 - 2009

World's First Digital Network

As CEO of Telstra in Australia, Sol creates the world's first fully digital nationwide network—delivered in under a year. A milestone in global telecommunications.

2008

Cultural Business Revolution

Andrea founds A.sweeT.—a first of its kind concept boutique in Beverly Hills that combines candy and clothing, making a splash across national and global media. A.sweeT. paves the way for fashion and collaborations to become mainstream and widespread.

2010s

Latino Economic Advocacy

Sol co-founds the Latino Donor Collaborative, developing economic frameworks and convening leaders to reframe Latino contributions as central to national growth and business strategy. Sol also introduces the first U.S. Latino GDP report as part of the LDC's data initiatives.

2017

Content Into Commerce

At Clique Brands, Andrea scales content into commerce—transforming editorial into products and experiences, proving lifestyle storytelling could directly drive sales and new revenue streams.

2018-2024

Cultural Business Revolution

As CMO of L'ATTITUDE, Andrea brings sports, music, and fashion into business conversations—shifting the national narrative on culture as a driver of U.S. economic growth.

Cultural Disruptor

Andrea is named a Top 100 Latina Disruptor by Hola! Magazine and featured in Forbes, People, E! News, and The Today Show for shaping culture into capital and translating cultural relevance into measurable business impact.
