Jay Hernandez
Jay Hernandez (Panel Speaker) won Best Actor at the 2024 Imagen Awards for his role in the critically acclaimed movie “The Long Game”, that screened at the White House earlier this year. He is currently directing his first feature movie, “Night Comes”, starring Dafne Keen, Samantha Lorraine and Alexander Ludwig. He starred as the iconic character ‘Thomas Magnum’ in the hit CBS/NBC reboot series “Magnum P.I.”, as El Diablo in the Warner Bros./DC Comic feature “Suicide Squad” from director David Ayer, and opposite Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell in the R-rated comedy “Bad Moms” and its sequel “Bad Moms Christmas”. Jay emerged onto the Hollywood scene opposite Kirsten Dunst in the 2001 Buena Vista Pictures’ film “Crazy/Beautiful” which earned him an ALMA Award nomination for Outstanding Actor. His other credits include Eli Roth’s “Hostel”, Oliver Stone’s 9/11 project “World Trade Center”, Shonda Rhimes’ “Scandal”, the Universal film “Friday Night Lights”, and Disney’s “The Rookie”.
